About me
Welcome to my professional site! I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism from Indiana University, where I dedicated much of my time working for the Indiana Daily Student and INside magazine. There, I covered everything from drag pageants to Iraq-war veterans and was a section editor for three semesters.
My interests are as varied as my resume. I’ve had internships with the historic feminist publication, Ms. magazine, and Chicago’s weekly where-to-go what-to-do magazine, Time Out Chicago. Most recently I completed a features and entertainment internship at the Kansas City Star. In May 2009, I also finished a legal advocacy internship with Middle Way House, a domestic violence shelter in Bloomington, Ind.
